Ingredients
- 1 large tub of full fat, natural yoghurt
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 level teaspoons bicarb of soda
- Porridge oats (approx. 500g)
Instructions
- Put the yoghurt in a mixing bowl and add the salt and
- bicarb. Mix well
- Use the empty yoghurt carton to measure 2 tubs of oats into
- the bowl. Mix well.
- Put the sludgy mixture into a lined 2lb loaf tin and bake at 180C for 40-45 mins until dark golden on top.
- Wait for it to cool completely before slicing
Notes
Equally delish with jam for breakfast or soup for lunch of supper, this bread will become a favourite recipe. It freezes well and toasts beautifully.
